Itinerary

Day 1 – BARCELONA

Arrival at Barcelona airport, meeting with our guide, private transfer to the hotel, accommodation in the reserved rooms. Free time. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – ÁVILA

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with our guide and departure for Ávila. Stop in Zaragoza and visit of the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, built in the seventeenth century on the banks of the Ebro. Celebration of Holy Mass. Free lunch. In the afternoon we continue to Ávila. In the evening arrival at the hotel, accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – ÁVILA – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the UNESCO World Heritage city, rich in monuments and history. Ávila is the birthplace of Santa Teresa. We visit the Cathedral, the convent of Santa Teresa, the churches of S. Pedro, S. Antonio. After lunch departure for Santiago de Compostela. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with our guide for a whole day dedicated to disover Santiago de Compostela, which along with its homonymous pilgrimage route, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. The city has a great cultural, architectural and religious significance. You will be able to admire the Plaza de Las Praterias, the Plaza del Obradorio with the famous Cathedral that houses the tomb of the apostle James, destination of pilgrimages since the Middle Ages, since it was discovered in the XI century by the bishop Teodomiro where, according to the prophecy, it would have shone a star (from which Campus Stellae and then Compostela). Visit of the historical center, of the Cathedral. Free time. At the end of the day Holy Mass. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – COIMBRA – FATIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. We start our tour in Coimbra visiting the splendid 12th century Romanesque Cathedral and the church of Sanat Cruz from the 16th century. Free lunch. In the afternoon we continue to Fatima where we can attend Mass. Arrival in the early evening. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – FATIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with our guide and full day dedicated to the liturgical functions (via crucis, masses etc.). Free lunch. Visit to Alijustrel (birthplace of the three shepherds) and to los Valinhos (place of apparitions of the Holy Virgin and the angel). Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – FATIMA – LISBON

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide and departure for Lisbon. Visit of this glorious city for its maritime power past. Lisbon, on the right bank of the Tagus River, stretches over seven soft hills, where the funiculars and electrios (trams) climb. We visit the picturesque district “Alfama”, the tower of Belem, the church and the birthplace of St. Anthony of Padua, the monument A los Descubrimientos, the Plaza Rossio and the Plaza do Commercio. Free lunch. In the afternoon we continue the guided tour, possibility to participate in the Holy Mass. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – LISBON – SEVILLE

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide and departure for Seville, the capital of Andalucía, crossing wide and fertile plains, desert and lunar landscapes, vast expanses of olive trees, cornfields, bull pastures and canyons where the bandoleros hid. Expected arrival for lunch. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation in the reserved rooms. In the afternoon  guided tour of the city: Plaza de Espana, the maze of ancient Arab lanes and white houses of the barrio of Santa Cruz, the Reales Alcazares the oldest royal house in Spain, the great Cathedral with the tomb inside of Christopher Columbus and the fantastic Retable, the Giralda, the Torre del Oro. Possibility to attend the Holy Mass. In the evening return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – SEVILLE – CORDOBA – GRANADA

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide, departure for Cordoba. We begin the visit of the city and its wonderful monuments starting from the Mezquita the mosque cathedral supported by 850 columns in granite and marble, an architectural and artistic masterpiece. After the visit, a stroll through the intertwining of twisted streets of the small historic center overlooked by white houses with patios of geraniums, jasmine, orange and lemon trees. Holy Mass will follow. Free lunch. In the afternoon departure for Granada. Arrival at the hotel. Accommodation in reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – GRANADA – VALENCIA

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide, departure for Valencia. Free lunch along the way. At the arrival, panoramic tour of the city, Plaza de Toros, Fallero Museum, Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, Oceanogràfic, Aqua Comercial Center, Marina Real, Playa de las Arenas, Puerto de Valencia, Av. Baleares, Mestalla. Possibility to attend Mass.  Hotel accommodation in reserved rooms. Free time. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11 – VALENCIA – BARCELONA

After breakfast meeting with our guide to visit Valenckia. Let’s start with a panoramic tour, we admire the exteriors of the City of the arts and sciences, continuing to the historic center where we can see the Lonja, the ancient silk market, the covered market, modernist construction in iron and glass and the Cathedral with the bell tower of the Miguelete. Holy Mass and free lunch. Departure for Barcelona. Arrival in the evening, accommodation in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12 – BARCELONA – CITY OF DESTINATION

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
